Junk Awards were inspired by ^JunkbyJen. These awards recognize outstanding volunteers, gallery moderators, and message network admins. These people donate their time and energy to maintaining deviantART with little or no recognition.

The second Junk Award is given to `GeneratingHype. He is, beyond measure, an inspiration. As a Gallery Moderator, and even before he was a GM, he spent time in Chats and Forums helping deviants and pointing them in the right direction. He would critique work and post things to help us. Now, when things have taken a turn for the worse for him, he is still smiling, updating his journal with what's going on, and telling everyone else to live life. He gives us all hope.
